Circle of Children Village School is a progressive free school situated on 60 acres of pristine land in the foothills of Oregon’s Coastal Mountains. We have been working tirelessly to create and build a new model of education based on fair and equal learning opportunities for all children. Our educational model is a vision of the new paradigm that includes:




1. An Awareness and Participation in Sustainable Living Practices: Building Sustainable Structures and growing & maintaining our Organic Permaculture Garden.

2. Indigenous and Cultural Teachings: Covered under this aspect of our teachings is the Indigo Medicine Wheel -a program designed for adolescents to get in touch with the natural rhythms and cycles of their self and the world.

3. Mentor Guided and Assisted Programs: We have a wide range of progressive professionals ready, willing, and able to provide quality educational services and programs to our youth participating in specialized areas.

4. Creative Expression: This area includes learning through a variety of creative means. Rudolf Steiner’s Waldorf educational model, among others, is a part of this integrative learning approach.

5. Self-Directed and Co-Creative Leadership among the Youth: We are all
building this Vision together! When our youth are given the right tools and
techniques in a productive and progressive environment they flourish with creative and innovative ideas! These ideas are formulated and turned into workable projects, positively affecting the community at large…

As you can see, there is much to be excited about here at Circle of Children Village School. The most exciting part is that we have just begun! We would love for you to be a part of this ground-breaking and expansive educational model and way of life.
